The first product commercialized under the ‘Blue’ brand of Camtel, ‘Blue Home’ is now available in some 18 sales points (Blue branches, Camtel’s Agencies, Shops…) in Yaounde and Douala, and would be extended to the rest of the regions by early 2022.
The product was officially rolled out today during a ceremony in Yaounde presided at by Camtel’s Deputy General Manager, Daniel Désiré Olle.
“The launching of this new product is very important to us because we have to satisfy our customers and make them feel at ease for all our products and know that we are here to serve them. That’s what we shall be doing in the years ahead” Camtel’s Deputy General Manager, Daniel Desire Olle, told reporters during the ceremony.
The product, ‘Blue Home‘ is a full packaged solution to the worries of many internet users in Cameroon, and is designed for used in households, small enterprises, shops and by start-ups.
“The internet penetration rate for home broadband in Cameroon is 2%, it is still very low, and the fastest solution to help break the digital divide is through ‘Blue Home‘, it is fast to deploy, fast to connect, it is plug and play with no installations required.” Zama Edmond Che, project manager at ‘Blue Home‘ said, while present the product to the public.
The particularity of the product according to Zama Edmond, lies on the quality of services offered to customers.
“We thought of everyone, ‘Blue Home’ has three speed based offers. Nobody else in Cameroon commits to that, ‘Blue Home’ is the first operator that is providing cost effective speed based offers to it’s customers depending on the package the choose.
Worth noting is the fact that the engine behind ‘Blue Home’ is Camtel’s 4G network, today the fastest in the country.
After ‘Blue Home’, Camtel’s commercial brand (Blue) is preparing to launch another product.
