Mr. Chombong Joseph, Second Deputy Mayor of Ndop council, in Ngokutunjia Division, Northwest Region, is reported kidnapped alongside three others by alleged Separatist fighters.
According to a Bamenda based news site, Promo Info, the four were abducted last Friday May 15 at about 10am.
The hostages were ransacked at Government School Bamali while in a funeral convoy from the mortuary heading for the burial a deceased.
News Upfront gathered that Mr. Chombong, Bertine, Fabrice and Mazu were taken to an unknown destination yet until the time of this report.
The Deputy Mayor was heading to burry his mother who passed away last week, while the other two excluding Bertine (photographer) are close family members.
