Régions du Nord-Ouest et du Sud-Ouest: le comité de reconstruction et de développement affûte sa stratégie

Le Mindel/Minepat Paul Tasong, en sa qualité de Coordonnateur National du Comité local d’examen du “Plan présidentiel pour la reconstruction et le développement des régions du Nord-Ouest et du Sud-Ouest du Cameroun” a présidé ce 20 avril 2020 à son cabinet, la première réunion dudit comité.

C’était en présence de la Coordonnatrice Résidente du Système des Nations Unies au Cameroun, Allegra Maria Del Pilar Baoicchi et du Représentant Résident du PNUD au Cameroun, Jean Luc Stalon.

Cette réunion avait pour objectif de passer en revue les différentes actions à mener et d’organiser la stratégie d’intervention.

Au terme des échanges, les parties ont relevé la nécessité d’agir concomitamment sur le volet humanitaire et sur le volet reconstruction et développement.

L’intervention sur le plan humanitaire consistera à porter assistance aux populations en souffrance, tandis que sur le plan développement , il s’agira de reconstruire et de réhabiliter les différentes infrastructures ( écoles, centres de santé, réseaux électriques, routes, etc ) qui ont été détruites.
