Story, Louvier Kindo Tombe
More than 4,000 pastors and clergy including thousands of faithful are expected to partake in the crusade dub “Divine Visitation, Cameroon 2023: The Hand of God” built for August 2023 at the Ahmadou Ahidjo stadium in Yaounde. They will be a part of a series of activities to mark the three-day impartation meant to last August 22 to 24.
This was revealed at a press conference in Yaounde, July 27 where the outline for the event was provided.
Speaking at the conference, Prophet Rodrigue Ndeffo, said, for the Lord to convene such a programme moving a man of the caliber of Apostle Johnson Suleman is a sign that great things are going to happen.
“we are coming together with thousands of men of God from all over Cameroon just to cry to God that let him bring permanent peace in our nation.”
Themed Divine Visitation Cameroon 2023, the mega get-together of brethren will among others, be an avenue for believers to cry for peace to return to the land. “during those three days … we will get to the root of the matter. That is why it is also a national deliverance program. Anything on the surface has a deep spiritual root and that is why we are coming to pray,” declared Prophet Ndeffo.
The event has been planned to happen in different sessions, for the sake of convenience of persons from all works of life. The first two days will be comprised of 8 a.m and 5 p.m sessions, and a 5 p.m session on the third day.
“We are going to have time with pastors. There will be time to minister to pastors. We would be having a time where they would be educated on how to carry their ministries forward and make them impactful,” explained Prophet Leslie Nsame. The multi-sectoral approach he noted, will target pastors, businessmen, partners and different other sectors. “They will be trained, impacted and prayed for”.
All is set for the event
The preachers made it clear to the press that they have the backing of the necessary authorities as they undertake the mega project. In addition to not being a gathering limited to a single denomination, Phophet Rodrigue noted that it is a national affair: “We are not coming for something that is privately a church matter. It is a national matter because the cry of our government and any inhabitant of Cameroon and even those in the diaspora is peace. Nothing can be done without peace and the Prince of Peace is Jesus himself.”
Cameroon, he declared further, “is really on the verge of a great move. This land is a great land so we believe in God and the destiny of Cameroon. That is why we are bringing this together.”
“This program is a revival we have been longing for and we are believing God that it is going to bring healing,” Explained Dr Kinga Sunday King, National Coordinator of the Omega Fire Ministries Worldwide.
Drawing inspiration from the second letter to the Corinthians, chapter 7 verse 4, he noted that “the coming of our father Apostle Johnson Suleman is a coming to join the body of Christ and the men of God in the land so that the nation can experience healing…”
“The crusade is open for everybody. Everyone is invited because God wants to visit Cameroon,” he added.
This is not the first time the Nigerian Prophet is visiting Cameroon. Like in many other nations across the globe he has visited, the preacher’s presence always leaves an impact, with many hailing him for his simplistic but soul-touching messages and ministrations.
