The decision according to it’s promoter, Mua Roland is provoked by government’s failure to recognize the efforts of the media defending the nation in all fronts.

The message reads “One Cameroon TV and One Cameroon Bilingual Daily
Is closing down;
No State Recognition,
No State Subvention,

News Upfront caught up with the promoter, Mua Roland, below is an interview he granted us:

NUF: greetings sir, there is a declaration circulating on social media Indicating that you are shutting down your doors, is it for real?

Promoter: Yes, off course and I want it to go viral.

NUF: Ok Sir, so have you shut down already or still planning to?

Promoter: Planing to do so. You know my TV is the only anti separatist platform TV in the country which has exposed these separatists.

NUF: We shall come to that Sir, have you tried to get in touch with government officials that matter to be recognized or for incentives?

Promoter: I have more than 1000 financial requests, even to the presidency of the Republic but to no avail.

NUF: Presently what is more important for One Cameroon group, finances or protection against separatists?

Promoter: Finances to run the TV, I have ruined my pocket for over 6 years now.

NUF: Can you estimate your expenses in six years, financially?

Promoter: Yes, more than 100 million

NUF: Wow

Promoter: You will not belief it, it is for the news paper prints and TV broadcasting bills.

NUF: Is there any government official that you can at least praise for being by you.

Promoter: (…)

NUF: You say you have been exposing the activities of “amba boys” in the NW/SW regions, have you been a target of their attacks?

Promoter: Besides the attack in one Cameroon TV office in Yaounde, my Hotel in Wum worth over 58 millions was destroyed by the boys, my electronic shop of millions gone also.

NUF: Let’s come back to the achievements you say your group has made so far, list some of them to us.

Promoter: One Cameroon TV, One Cameroon News and
WhatsApp technologies Cameroon, (Anti-Separatist Agency) have made over 4000 separatist to drop weapons through tactical and methodological means and with the results visible.

NUF: Really?

Promoter: We have exposed all thier Major killings and the chopping off of heads of law enforcement officers, teachers and students all in their line of duty.

NUF: Owing to the present situation in your media group, what is the way forward?

Promoter: If we donot get the means to continue, we will shut down in a few days
