This landmark partnership aims to tackle the pressing issue of flood disasters in Limbe, Cameroon, through a multidisciplinary approach.
The agreement, signed by CAMP President Solomon Agborem, and Lovet Enow, of Novia University, paves the way for a comprehensive research project.
The project, set to be launched on April 12, 2025, will focus on identifying mitigation practices and proposing solutions to reduce the impact of flood disasters.

CAMP’s expertise in media and communication will be leveraged to create awareness and promote preparedness among local communities. Novia University’s research and innovation capabilities will provide valuable insights and support.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in CAMP’s mission to drive positive change in Cameroon. With Novia University on board, CAMP is poised to break new grounds in flood disaster management and make a lasting impact on the lives of Cameroonians.
The research project will adopt a multidisciplinary approach, combining expertise from media, communication, environmental science, and disaster management.
By bringing together researchers and practitioners from diverse backgrounds, the project aims to develop innovative solutions to mitigate the impact of flood disasters in Limbe.
One of the key objectives of the project is to identify effective strategies for creating awareness and promoting preparedness among local communities.
In addition to creating awareness and promoting preparedness, the project will also focus on identifying mitigation practices and proposing solutions to reduce the impact of flood disasters.
The partnership between CAMP and Novia aims to develop solutions that are tailored to the specific needs and context of Limbe.
