The forum will run from the 1st to the 3rd of August 2024.
It will hold on the theme “Farmer agroecology, a lever for the development of a rural economy, resilient to the effects of climate change”.
The idea is to promote agroecology and green activities as resilient solutions to climate change.
More than 300 participants will attend the forum and receive skills to integrate agroecological techniques into their production systems.
During the forum, they will exhibit and share their experiences on processing, conservation and marketing techniques for products from peasant agroecology and build their resilience to climate change.
The principal targets are young girls and women specifically those in rural areas.
The first edition of the forum took place last year 2023.
