Hon. Ngala Gerard Takes Children to School in Grand Style

The CPDM Member of Parliament for Donga Mantung Central, Nkambe, was very instrumental in the smooth resumption of classes for the 2020/2021 academic year in his constituency.

Hon. Ta Nformi Ngala Gerard, spent a full intensive week sensitising the population of Nkambe Central Sub Division to resume school effectively on Monday, October 5, 2020.

Besides that, the Parliamentarian matched words with actions by providing a considerable amount of didactic materials to pupils and students in the constituency.

School bags, books, pens, pencils, rulers and many more constituted the consignment from the Member of Parliament.

The people’s representative personally visited schools, private and public to inspect the smooth resumption.

At the Government Bilingual High School, GBHS Nkambe, he was accompanied by the SDO, Fon of Nkambe and Mayor of the municipality.

Instantly, he praised the school administration and teaching staff including students for braving the odds to resume classes.

Hon. Ta Nformi Ngala Gerard encouraged them to respect the various anti Covid-19 measures prescribed by the Prime Minister and Head of Government as well as discipline through out the academic year.

In other institutions where infrastructure is a major challenge, the MP did not stay indifferent.

The construction of two blocks comprising Five (5) classrooms and the Head Master’s Office of G.S. Bondu in Tabenken was at it’s finishing and will answer the cry of lack of infrastructure.

It has always been the wish of Hon. Ngala Gerard to see his people live life to the fullest and enjoy the opportunities from the government.

Beneficiary families of the back to school gesture from Hon. Ngala Gerard could not hide their feelings, as many sang praises of the elite.

During his stay in Nkambe, the parliamentarian visited the main markets and some portable water projects in the locality.

Worth noting is the fact that the MP is also CPDM section president for Donga Mantung 1. The area has always been lively in the midst of the Anglophone Crisis.

His actions has earned him decoration from traditional authorities of his homeland.
