The leader of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement had given seven (7) days to President Paul Biya to publicly address the situation or he (Kamto) will personally take charge.
It is seven days already and Paul Biya has not made any public outing to address the health crisis in the country as requested by the CRM scribe.
Judging from the words contained in his release of last week, Kamto is to Indicate the way forward for Cameroonians as concern primarily the fight against COVID-19 including other pertinent issues in the country.
Cameroonians are thus looking up to hear from Kamto Friday, April 3rd 2020.
Kamto, it Should be noted is not satisfied with the way government is handling the COVID-19 pandemic.
The statement from the national president of the Cameroon Renaissance Movement last week provoked attacking reactions from some top government officials.
The Minister of Labour and Social Security, Gregoire Owona indicated that Kamto has no rights to command the President of the Republic.
To the national communication secretary of the central committee of the ruling CPDM party, who doubles as Minister of Higher Education, Prof Jacques Fames Ndongo, the CRM leader is hitting an “empty container” seeking for notice.
The expected statement from Kamto would determine his determination with respect to his words.
