26-year-old professional SNH Velo Club cyclist, Kuere Nounawe Rodrigue Eric, has emerged winner of the prestigious CAMTEL Blue jersey, in the fourth lap of the Grand Prix Chantal Biya International Cycling race, that took place on October 4, in Meyomessala.
The Cameroonian cyclist crossed the finishing line within a time frame of 2h50’22, after covering a distance of 115,1km from Sangmelima-Nkpwang-Meyomessala.
Kuere Nounawe Rodrigue Eric takes over from his Cameroonian counterpart,Tella Artuce Jodele, who had conserved, the CAMTEL Blue jersey, during the first and second laps of the competition.
It should be noted that, the CAMTEL Blue jersey aims at compensating the most outstanding Cameroonian cyclist, through out the bicycle competition.
However, the Algerian runners have succeeded in imposing their supremacy, as Mansouri Islam finished winner of the fourth lap, recording 2h50’19.
While, the Belgian cyclist, Van Dyck Wesley, from Flanders Region Club grabs the yellow jersey.
The fifth lap of the race, scheduled for October 5, will run from Sangmelima to Yaoundé, over a distance of 163,5km.
